Thalassa

The Allcomers String Orchestra visits its beloved island once again presenting the exhibition "Thallassa", an ode to the seas surrounding Kythera and a visual commentary on the environmental issues affecting the world's oceans. The exhibition will open with a musical premiere of "Ulysses Awakes", a creative transcription by English composer John Woolrich of Ulysses first aria in Act 1, Scene 7 of Claudio Monteverdi's opera "Il ritorno d' Ulisse in patria".
