For years and years I swim,
where is love so I can go to it.
The sea has eaten away the rocks
and the island remains alone.
Living on an island surrounded by rocks, observing them became my obsession. To me, the rock is a symbol of stability and mental endurance. Reefs and cliffs, my friends, immobile witnesses through time from the dawn of this world’s creation. In events and snapshots, they record lives and emotions, changes, conversing with the water and allowing souls and birds to rest upon them. Natural monuments stand proudly. Thus, I took my sorrow rock by rock and imprinted it in my works.
