Small Escapes

It is said that "repetition brings order to a chaotic world". This is what Drosia Tseri tries to achieve with this series of paintings where motif dominates. Repetition creates a constant rhythm within the painting and in some cases you have the feeling that the painting continues beyond its frame, occupying the entire space. Drosia Tseri painted these works in a period of her life where she "zoomed" into the textures of the objects creating repetitive formative elements that remind us of primitive art.
