Christina Pateros was born in Chicago with a Polish and Greek ancestry. She is a generational painter born from a family of artists, artisans, creators and entrepreneurs. She guides shamanic practices through workshops, presentations and private work. She guides groups in embodied conscious living and dying practices as well as sacred art creation. She live in Colorado spending extended time in Kythera, the place of her paternal ancestors. Her work reflects what she sees and what her heart remembers; examining focused and unfocused energy in the eyes. She paints animals and abstract visions of living energy, she focuses on the reflections of light and color. Her medium is her fingers, feathers, sticks and shells and an occasional brush.
